Grzz'at is a powerful mage well versed in the elemental arts, particularly water and earth. He leads the small tribe of Lizardmen who live below the surface of Copper Lake near the docks of Windshiem. He and Father O'Reily are long time friends, and Grzz'at is a devote disciple of the Church of the Resurgent God. He views the humans of the village as fast and loyal allies, and the relations between the two peoples are as one united community. Grzz'at is insular and unforthcoming to outsiders of Windshiem. He is far less accommodating to strangers than is Father O'Reily, however to those he knows and is close with he is a loyal and steadfast friend with a sharp intellect and a surprising sense of humor. He is close with his magical knowledge, teaching his current apprentices to the exclusion of all others. Rarely he may part with some bit of arcane lore if the need is great, or the trade very favorable, however he treats his magic with utmost secrecy, clouding it with mystical symbology and sometimes unnecessary ritual. His word is law with his fellow Lizardmen, and it is largely his connection to Windshiem that keeps the community so close.
