Father O'reily

Father O'Reily is 55, and the spiritual as well as political leader of Windshiem. It has been his even handed good natured determination that has fostered the village of Windshiem into a peaceful town of contemplation and worship. Everyone in the town loves and owes their loyalty to the man, and would defend him and the church to their dying breath. The Father (as he is prominently known) has such force of charisma that some who pass through find themselves instead staying on for a while to learn of the Church of the Resurgent God. Some few have even stayed on as new disciples, joining the church and the community. Many travelers have been moved by the Father such that they spread the word of the faith as they head out to their destinations. Windshiem is but a small out of the way town, but with the Cathedral being directed by Father O'Reily, there are those in the capital of Tolkeen who have become aware of this backwaters community, and a few have pilgrim aged there to worship in the halls of the Cathedral. He views himself as a simple man not taken to excesses in anything he does. He can often be found ministering among the townsfolk, or assisting in the day to day chores of maintaining the church grounds. He loves to garden, and keeps a vegetable and herb patch in a nearby field that he tends to as time permits. During harvest, its not uncommon to find the Father out in the fields of the town assisting with taking in the bounty. The people love him, and he in turn cares for their needs and ministries.
