Mergo's Men
Mergo's Men is a Mercenary Force the Sanguine Sentinels picked up in Shadow Dale. They are led by Captina Mergo and originally consisted of five men at arms, Narrow, Hans, Curd, Slick and Fritz. This group hails from Sembia. All equipped with shortbows, scimitars, halberds, studded leather armor. All have Weapon focus scimitar. We have also given them, as sign on bonuses, each an equipped horse and other gear. They have served faithfully as we ventured to the temple where Lord Randall Morn was originally captured and into the Spider Haunt Wood. We left them in the gnome village as we ventured out with Medarin after the Evil that is defiliing the wood. From there they returned to Shadow Dale without our knowledge but were able to meet us as we came out of the wood on pursuit of Morn's Captors. We unfortunately lost Slick and Fritz to the Great Earth Elemental that attacked us at the Bridge shortly before getting to Dagger Falls. From there they came to Dagger Falls with the Army of the followers of Morn and fought valiantly at the re-capturing of Dagger Falls and against the ensuing onslought of the Orcish Army a few days later.
Captain Mergo (NPC)
Mergo is Leader and Captian of the Mercenary Party Mergo's Men. He lead initially a troop of five stout followers, but is now the Captain of a band of 24 Men! Mergo also now wields a +1 Long Sword that was gifted to him by the party.
Narrow(NPC)
Narrow is a quiet man at arms. He is quiet becasue he is without a tongue. He is now one of the three surviving original men of Mergo's Men and has become a Sargeant over seven of the new men.
Hans (NPC)
Hans is a man who has a way with horses. 15 years old, tall wiry. expert with horses - grooming. He has now also become the Sargeant of the horse Brigade of seven men who have recently been taken on.
Curd (NPC)
Curd is a skilled swordsman. He has become the Sargeant of the Heavy Foot Brigade of seven men we have recently taken on.
