The FURFOLK of Neverland
Mermaids and Mermen of the feline kind...

...reside, of course, in the ocean. Though currents are strong and sometimes the weaker ones are shoved around by waves, so the sheltered lagoon of the island of Neverland makes the perfect rendezvous place for them. The lagoon is a beautiful thing. Crystal clear water reaches far down into the depths, where on a clear day you can look down and see the brightly-colored fish darting among the coral. The nearly-white sand around it is very fine and soft, almost like snow. But beware the lagoon on full moons. It's dangerous then, made clear by the wails of the mermaids. No one knows why because no one has returned from investigating. The mermaids themselves aren't exactly what one might call 'good friends'. They constantly bask lazily in the sunlight, absorbed in only themselves, and splash an innocent passerby with cold saltwater, followed by a round of giggles. They are, however, very helpful allies. Not to mention very beautiful....

Venus- a cat mermaid, She is a young mermaid, with bright green eyes and has a shimmery green tail, the fur on her body is very short and pale, almost a yellowish white, all except the fur on her head which is red and longer than the rest of her fur and is spiked a bit, and the only other thing she wears is green shells. She is sweet, beautiful, and naive, but is wild, adventurous and witty. Although she loves being a mermaid but she is lonely.. and longs to be a part of the world on land.-Little devotchka

Mikona Aura- a cat mermaid,She has pale white fur that is very short, barely visible but extremely soft. She has a small cute face, with small features, almost childish. Her hair is a very dark brown, almost black, tied back in two hooped braids, with ends hanging down to her waist. She wears a red shirt, although it looks like silk, it's made underwater and is waterproof. It has a gold snake on it. She also has gold wristbands and a gold fin band :P She's smart, cute and likes to cause mischief.-Lani
