Griffin fire 1098 to top Woodward, despite match-high 289 by Hill
Senior Tim Bennett fired a 287 out of a possible 300 to lead the Griffin Rifle Team to a 1098-1031 win over Woodward Academy at the GHS ROTC range.
Junior Jeremy Moore shot 277 and senior Joey Mabry shot 272 to further Griffin's cause as the team improved 2-1 on the season. Senior Justin Lazenby's 262 also counted towards the team score. Jessica McClain's 261 helped prove the strength of this year's team.
