Dark Side of the Mountain
As you walk on the path that is under you feet slowly begins to change into a lighter shale then into a darker grey almost back shale that moves under your feet. Wail you are watching the change under your feet other changes had been going on around you. The forest had slowly melted away into a rocky mountain side, the only trees that grow in the area are old and knarred, their branches going this way and that, some them rapping back into themselves. Though for the darker surroundings the bushes seem to be a bright green.
Looking at this new place that you happened upon, a cave is ahead of you, knarred trees almost overwhelming the entrance, though the leaves on the trees are not the duller but they are a bright green. Some are splattered with looks like blood, and under some of the knotted roots there is scattered bones. Then the a huge bleached white skull catches you eye, it lies entangled in the branches of the tree that overhangs most of the cave. Giving the place a look that is almost contradictory, the dark mountain sides then the bright green plant life along with the bleached bones that scatter the caves area.
Shale slips down the mountain behind you, though that is not all that is herd, there is also the sound of foot steps in the tumbling shale. Quickly turning to look you see a massive cat sitting mere feet from you on a rock out cropping, a few different green plants under his feet. His ears are pinned flat and long fang glinting, showing all the way to his gums from the snarl. Then with one quick movement his dark red wings are flared, arched over his back, and a deep growl well up form his throat.
| Stammering you take a few steps back and
think of running but the cat would be to quick. He moves down the side he could
not be more that a fourth of his height from the ground. moving back as he
pushes you back with every sep. The different colors of his coat are inner laced
with many different scars that all move in a sea like pattern with each step.
"Run if you are wanting your spirit to stay in the body the way it is now!" his voice holds an ominous hiss. "You have to the count of 5 before I begin to chase you down like the pray you are. 1.... 2..... 3... 4-" |

You hear another voice as he pauses. " Will you quit that and count to some other number before chasing them off!" Turning quickly at the harsh voice you see another dark kat coming toward you from the cave her shining black coat shining and the red markings standing out. Two huge rows of spikes line her back, shifting as she moves towards you, her tale lashing back and forth. Her grey eyes seems to pierce though you and to the other kat the smirk on her lips seem to be aimed at. " Tuucoth I Figured you to be a bit better at this game and not allow them to get away so quickly." She smirks at him tail twitching a bit. And then chuckles showing her pearl white fangs. |
He looks at the kat and mutters, " Well I was going to give chase. And what do you know of this I was hear a time before you."
They start going back and forth a bit on how to running off a person, the female keeps to playing with a person mind more but the male seems to stand on more harsher things like running a person into a cold sweat before leaving them in shock. All this time you are just sitting there watching the two bicker between themselves. At one part both begin circling each other and laughing both talking on Turing on you, but then bickering on who would get the heart.
As they are bickering you decide to try to leave so that you may not be the target of the day in there 'games'. Turning you try and sneak off but the shale shifts under your feet and both of the kats turn. Now running all you do is induce a chase from both of the kats that have now joined sides to get you it seems.
The female takes the banks of shale running along after you, she seems to hang back a bit watching your movements. Though the male comes up strongly behind you gaining ground with each wide step taken. Now not looking back you hope upon all odds that you shall get away from this.
The next thing that you know you are out of the shale and back onto the path that you followed earlier to the spot that is now clearly marked in your mind. The female had shoved her way to the front and swong a paw, knocking you feet out from under you and grinning as you face planted into the shale. Then both are atop you, smacking out about like a rag doll, then all goes black, but you can here there laughing and the claws digging into you spine.
