| Rocking Triple H Ranch is proud to have the selection of does that are out in the new pastures. The does that are run at Rocking Triple H Ranch are Fullblood and Persentage Boer goats. There are two main focoises with the does; with the fullbloods the focus is to produce registered and top of the line breeding stock, with new animals added in each year to improve the genitic avalibility. The commercial herd is focuued on producing show quailty weathers and does that when crossed to a Fullblood throw large numbers and top quailty kids. Over the last few years the ranch has experimented with crossing our does to Angorias, to create a larger butt, and we have used Nubians to increase production with kids and milk. This has allowed the ranch to develop a commerical herd that produces top quality market weathers for the 4-H and FFA communities around Plumas and Lassin Counties. The kids produced out of these animals have a superior gain and hardiness that is needed in the early Plumas County months. |
