| What Is a Ghost or Spirit? |
| Main Entry: ghost Pronunciation: 'gOst Function: noun Date: before 12th century 1: a disembodied soul; especially : the soul of a dead person believed to be an inhabitant of the unseen world or to appear to the living in bodily likeness 2 : SPIRIT, DEMON I think that a ghost isnt really a "disembodied soul"..but a memory... Say that a really traumatic event happened...like a murder...energy would be released during this occurance. So, why wouldnt someone during present time be able to feel that energy? Its kind of like a warp in the dimension. A bump in time. If a murder happened in a room, a person visiting might be able to feel, sense or even see that event taking place...on account of the energy released from that event. Spirits, or "ghosts" can be seen in three forms. One, Orbs...Two, Ectoplasm...and Three, the full bodied Apparition. Ghosts can be seen in houses, hotels, cemeteries, churches, schools and even in the sky! Just keep an eye out for the unexplained, and you just might see something paranormal for yourself! |
