The rubber dress!
Contrary to popular opinion, I dont jump into drag gear at the drop of a hat ... well not usually!

People who know me will ahve heard of the rubber dress, aminly cos its gotten a bit of a reputation. Admittedly a mix of good and bad - several people on the goth scene where it has been worn to nights such as "Elviras" have both praised it and slaited it.
The History
In the early months of 1998,a friend back in Cardiff called Joo, held her 21st birthday party. The invitations advertised it as a themed night either Fetish or SchoolDays.

A few weeks before the party, Joo complained to me that no-one seemed to be doing fetish, and none of the blokes invited were doing drag. So, being the cheery helpful bouncy person that I am, I asked around my female friends and found that one lovely lass had a collection of clothes that after some trial and error, revealed thatthe rubber dress fitted and didnt look to bad.

So the day of the party comes along, I`ve already shaved all visible hair zones (chest legs arms face etc) had my hair crimped, done the make up, squeezed into the dress and run round to the party hidding in a BIG coat and under a BIG umbrella.

And in all honesty, I thought I looked good, rubber has the wonders of giving a chunky chappy like me a perfect hour glass figure - I was a 40-30-40 that night!
Since then it has been worn a few times for clubbing etc, one of the most recent outings as a sponsored costume which I wore all day for Red Nose Day, raising 10% of the money that the company made.

The photo below aint great, but will give ya an idea of what it looks like
