Theme:

The Georgia Scorcher is the hottest ride around. Can you take the heat? Can you put your feet to the fire?

The ride has an ordinary station. It's just a steel building with the queue (line). There really isn't much theme to the ride itself.

Debut:

The Georgia Scorhcer made its debut in 1999 at Six Flags Over Georgia. It is the tenth of twelve total coasters Six Flags Over Georgia has built. Three of which are gone: Viper, Mini-Mine Train, and Z-Force.

Structure:

The Georgia Scorcher's track is gold with purple supports and gray rails. The seats are purple with red over-the-shoulder restraints and you stand up. The front car has a bullet nose with a yellow tip. The entire track is above a surface made of gray rocks.

Special Features:

After the lift hill is a small dip then the drop. It might be there to confuse first time riders. Following the vertical loop, there is a banked turn that goes through the loop. After the flat spin (corkscrew) there is a figure eight layout that can pull up to 4 g's.

Inversions:

There are only 2 inverions, but the ride is great. Directly after the first drop is a vertical loop. The other inversion is a flat spin (corkscrew) near the end of the ride.
