Statistics:Type: Steel |
Theme:It was themed to go along with the Gotham City section of the park in 1997. It was painted green as it was called the Riddler. Later the name was changed to Mindbender. There really isn't much theming around the ride. There is only a green waterfall and two green ponds. |
Debut:The Mindbender has been operating since March 31, 1978 at Six Flags Over Georgia. It is the third of twelve total coasters Six Flags Over Georgia has built. Three of which are gone: Viper, Mini-Mine Train, and Z-Force. |
Structure:The Mindbender's track is green with green supports. The seats are black with a gray metal lap bar. The train is black with green question marks all over it. |
Special Features:After the lift hill is a helix that drops a little then comes back up. After the second inversion there is a short tunnel. There is a building next to the lift hill where the trains are stored at night. Right in front of the lift hill is a long straight track that can slide over to put the trains up. Midway through the ride is a large swooping drop. |
Inversions:There are only 2 inversions. They are both vertical loops. Some people say that the swooping drop is an inclined loop, but to me it's just a large, tilted helix. |
