Theme:

This B&M roller coaster is themed and named after the Marvel comic character, the Incredible Hulk. Like the Incredible Hulk, the ride is mean and green.

This ride too, like Kraken, is well themed. As you go through the queue (line), you enter the gamma ray tube, which is the station.

Debut:

The Incredible Hulk made its grand opening on May 28, 1999 at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. It is one of the four roller coasters that opened along with the park. The fifth coaster, the Flying Unicorn, opened June 29, 2000.

Structure:

The Incredible Hulk's track is green with white supports. The seats are red and sit-down and have over-the-shouler restraints that are neon green. The train is the same color as the track. Most of the Incredible Hulk is above ground, but there is one dive under a footpath bridge. At night, the track glows green.

Special Features:

The first inversion puts you upside down 110 feet above the ground. Another special features is the dive under a footpath bridge that soaks you with mist. After the first inversion, you shoot down to water level and the water parts as you pass it at 67 mph.

Inversions:

First you launch out of the station at 40 mph and go through a weightless, zero-g barrel roll. Then you barrel through a cobra roll (boomerang, 2 inversions). After that is a vertical loop followed by the dive under the footpath bridge. Next is a flat spin (corkscrew). Follwing that is another vertical loop and the grand finale is another flat spin (corkscrew).
