Theme:

In the underground tunnels of Gotham City, riders will escape through the Batcave to ride Batman's newest crime-fighting device, Batman the Ride.


As riders go through the queue (line), they go through the sewers and factories of Gotham City. The station is the Batcave and there is a Batman suit on the other side of the trains.

Debut:

Batman the Ride has been operating since May 3, 1997 at Six Flags Over Georgia. It is the ninth of twelve total coasters Six Flags Over Georgia has built. Three of which are gone: Viper, Mini-Mine Train, and Z-Force.

Structure:

Batman The Ride's track is black with black supports and gray rails. The seats are black with yellow restraints. The track is above the train and riders' feet dangle.

Special Features:

After the lift hill is a small dip then the drop. The track is above the riders and their feet dangle. Make sure to tie your shoes. After boarding the train, the floor drops down and you pull out of the staion. The Batman is set in the Gotham City part of Six Flags Over Georgia.

Inversions:

There are 5 inversions. After the first drop there is a vertical loop, a heartline roll, and another vertical loop. Later there are two flatspins (corkscrews).
