Yuffie
On your trip to Gongaga Village in the car, you have two options
a.Go to the Village
b. Go find Yuffie
If you decide to find yuffie, then do this: There's a forest to the west of the village, with a river behind it. Across the River is a mountain. Isn't it pretty? Anyway, In that forest, you must run around, without the car, around until you get into a fight with a "mystery ninja level 32" or something like that. When you kick her butt, there'll be a scene. DON'T ask her to join your party. If you do this, she will be a pest, and WILL join your party! Oh ya, DON'T use the save point, she steals some $$ from you!
If you decided to do Gongaga first, then do the same thing-after you're done with the village. Then, It's on to Cosmo Canyon!....
Vincent
Vincent could be a tough one if you don't have a lot of HP. To get him, you need to go to the Shinra Mansion. Up the stairs, to the left, there's a room with a safe. You must open the safe. I'm sorry, but I have lost the code, so you'll need to find it the long way, and I can't assist you with that. Anyway, once you open the safe, a monster, the Lost Number, comes out. GRRR...you must fight him! He's half physical, and half magical. Clueless? Well, this is what you do: Use Magical attacks first, to destroy his magical side. From then on, pound him with magic. When you destroy him, you'll get a key, and the Odin Summon. Equip him!
When you're in the basement tunnel, there's a door on the top area of one of the screens. In there, is a coffin. Open it, and talk to Vincent. He'll talk a bit about Sephiroth. When done, he'll ask you to leave him alone. Geez, don't annoy the guy! When you're all done with Shinra Mansion, upon exiting, he'll join your party
