Blurb:
Lane’s out for justice. He witnessed a horrible crime, the murder of Devin’s parents. So, he agrees to pretend to go into the Federal Witness Protection Program to set up and capture a mole within the ranks of the FBI. In the process, he finds himself captured…and captivated.

Devin’s out for revenge. Her parents were murdered, and the only man who can help her avenge them just happens to be the most gorgeous hunk of a man she’s ever seen. She joins forces with Lane, pretending to be on the run from the mole’s hit men, but really they’ve set a trap…and Devin's become entrapped…by Lane.

The mole wants revenge, too, but for a different reason. Lane captured a hit on film, one his father arranged, and now the mole wants to make sure Lane never makes it to the witness stand to testify. Even if he has to kill Devin, too.FUELED BY INSTINCT

Review:

I am slightly torn in my review.  While I firmly believe many people will enjoy this book, FUELED BY INSTINCT was not for me.  It is written in a literary style with excessive use of narrative.  The pages are heavily peppered with adjectives and little action.  Many people enjoy a book where the writer creates a world with tremendous detail.  I found a lot of the information unnecessary to the plot, so much so that I lost track of the plot throughout the book.  When reading the story blurb, I was excited and enthusiastic to read this book, but I found myself immediately distanced from the story concept and the characters.  I am one voice.  If you prefer a book heavy with details and long narratives, you will love this book.
