As
an ex-con, Lori is determined to make a new life for
herself in a quiet rural town. A quiet life
that
does not include friends, lawyers and especially men. She’s resigned
herself to
live out her life as a hermit, afraid to love again. She did the time,
but not
the crime, and someone doesn’t want her to reopen her case. Feeling
watched,
she tries to find a place to disappear. What she didn’t expect to find
was love
and friendship. Sal is a lawyer and a man, and Lori has trust issues
with both.
Sal also happens to own the perfect rental for Lori. Lori resists all
his
attempts to protect her and befriend her. But Sal is a patient
man when it comes to Lori and he’s willing to wait for her love.
Coincidence
at its heart is a romance. It’s about learning to trust, live and love
again
even after bad things happen to you.
Rebecca
Savage presents two people who would
have been
perfect for each other had Lori not been framed for a crime and been
deceived
by her former fiancé. While the story starts a little slow, it
builds until you
are rooting for these two to get together. The ending had my jaw
dropping,
which I absolutely loved. I enjoyed reading this novel and look forward
to
reading more by Rebecca Savage.
