Doc. very seldom wore black suits favoring gray or blue instead.

He was not married to Mary Katherine Haroney"Big Nose Kate" and She was not at his bedside when He died as some people say.

He was a skillful Gambler and the Nerviest, Deadliest man with a six gun that I've ever seen.( Quoted by Wyatt Earp)
He was not a drunkard as some people would lead you to believe. He always had a bottle with him and would take a drink, but He new his limits. Later on toward the end of his life Doc. did drink quite a bit but it was for the pain that He was experiencing.
Doc. did in fact have a death wish He did not want to die from tuberculosis. He often said that He would be shot or hung but wouldn't die in bed.
Holiday was given six months to two years to live if he moved out West, He lived for 15 years after he was diagnosed with the disease.
Doc. sometime's carried two pistols as did many other men. One was a 1851 Navy Colt single action conversion, modified to fire .38 cal. cartridges and a Later model 41 cal. Colt Thunderer. It was quoted in the paper that Doc. used a self cocker during the shooting of Milt Joyce in the Oriental Saloon which would be the Thunderer.
Doc. Holliday's last words were "Ain't this funny."
He has a Monument  and Head Stone at the Pioneer Cemetery in Glenwood Springs Colorado, but really no one knows for sure where Doc. is buried.
His head stone reads simply" He Died In Bed"
