Following the failed attempt, they discover that the would-be assassin was using a Terran Security weapon. At that point, Tacoman experiences a stop in time and is visited by a strange man named Greymoran. Greymoran tells Tacoman to look for the key and calls Tacoman "son" before disappearing. After time resumes its normal course, the crew attempts to figure out what Tacoman's experience meant and why TerrSec is after them. Minutes later, a large group of security officers storm into the restaurant and arrest the LICC. In the prisoner transport, Tacoman experiences another time stop and another visit from Greymoran who emphasizes that Tacoman search for the key and that he be weary of "the one with the purple circle." After time starts up again, the Observer transports the entire group to his private universe where they can discuss the current situation in private.
In orbit, the Spidership II picks up a distress signal from the science vessel Yellow Dragon commanded by Captain Keith E. Yeager. The distress signal is automatically routed to Tacoman's suit. Realizing that Yeager is the key that Tacoman is searching for, he has the Observer bring Captain Yeager's ship to his private universe. With a great amount of effort, the Observer is able to transport the bridge module of Keith's ship to the universe. Luckily, the crew finds Yeager alive.

While the crew tries to find a way to escape TerrSec imprisonment, a kind German superhero named Ubermensch teleports them out of TerrSec custody. After the escape, Frangelica and the Observer decide to infiltrate TerrSec Headquarters to find information while the rest of the crew searches for the purple anomaly. Suddenly, Greymoran's evil, insane brother Radagast appears. He creates a portal and Captain Tacoman and Keith are sucked through. After Radagast disappears, Greymoran arrives. He informs the crew that they must go to Cormyr if they hope to rescue their captain and the universe in the process.
Tacoman and Keith find themselves on the Martian moon Phobos, orbiting a pre-terraformed Mars. There they meet a man named Arkady Bogdanov. After a little explanation, Bogdanov takes them to meet Maya Toitovna, an inhabitant who has had visions foretelling the arrivals of Keith and Tacoman.
On Earth in another universe, the LICC attempts to find a way to retake the Spidership from TerrSec while Adon plays bait and manages to capture an agent. Milkshake comes up with a plan and the crew goes to work.
On Phobos in a different dimension, Keith and Tacoman meet Maya Toitovna. She is happy to see that her vision was true. Hoping that the LICC will be able to find his position, Tacoman activates his suit's homing beacon then modifies it to send a short message to Commander Milkshake.
Onboard the TerrSec-controlled Spidermobile, a hidden Colanator finds Tacoman incoming message. He forwards it to Milkshake.
Meanwhile, Jadlad dimension hops to an empty TerrSec transport and takes control of it while Milkshake, Insane, and Quantum Man take Milkshake's speeder to the Spidership. Using his powers and Insane's skilled piloting, Quantum Man is able to get himself onto the ship. Rikard makes his way to a nearby spaceport and finds that his X-Wing that he thought was destroyed at Club Ted is there. After getting his fighter back, he flies it to the Spidership and attacks the small fleet of TerrSec ships that are surrounding the Spidership, causing a massive retaliation. Adon and Ansh take Adon's combat suit up to the ship and easily board. Quantum Man soon gets computer control and beams most of the TerrSec troops off of the ship. As the Spidermobile leaves Spacedock, a large TerrSec battlecruiser appears, weapons ready. Belowdecks, Adon encouters a biomechanical superwarrior, Aramath.
On Phobos, Maya tells Tacoman and Keith of a dream that she had that involved the three of them. In it, they were surrounded by a wall of flame while battling a group of Orcs. A wizard in orange robes tells them that two must die. She believes that the dream is prophetic. With no idea of how to proceed, they that there is little to do but wait for Greymoran, or Radagast, to find them.
On the Spidership, Adon continues to fight Aramath, but his attacks do little damage to the cyborg. Adon transports himself away to a TerrSec base and Aramath follows. The crew on the ship battles a group of invading battlebots while Rikard and Phil's Angels fight the TerrSec forces outside. As the fight draws to an end, Greymoran arrives to take the Spidermobile to Cormyr. He opens a purple dimensional portal, but something goes wrong. Radagast causes the portal to explode. The resulting effects make time travel and dimensional travel in the area temporarily impossible. It is a three day journey out of the affected area. Until then, rescuing Captain Tacoman is not possible.
Chapter Three: Into the Darkness
New Characters: Minsc, Boo, the EMH/Holodoc, Lt. Frankovsky, Female Redshirt

Meanwhile, Adon fights off Aramath and begins to search for information on the cyborg. Before he can finish reading, Aramath, still alive, returns and attacks again. The two warriors eventually find themselves on the outside of the TerrSec base, exposed to open space. In the middle of the struggle, Aramath freezes, still as a statue, courteousy of the Observer's magic, having returned from his infiltration of the TerrSec facility. He and Adon return to the Spidership and do not see a TerrSec vessel approach the frozen cyborg, firing some type of beam at Aramath and releasing the creature from the spell.
The Spidership, still suffering from TerrSec sabotage of the computer, comes face to face with the TerrSec cruiser. Thanks to the painful efforts of Quantum Man and Adon, the Spidermobile is saved and the TerrSec cruiser is crippled. The LICC ship jumps to warp, on course for the edge of the affected space.
On Phobos, Keith is hanging out with one of his literary idols, John Boone, and Tacoman is chatting with Maya when Radagast appears. He creates another portal, sucking Maya, Keith, and Tacoman through. They awake to find themselves in a Baldur's Gate Universe face to face with a man named Minsc and his hamster Boo. After a short conversation with the easily awed Minsc, Tacoman contacts the Spidership and tells them of his situation. Minsc then leads the trio into a nearby mine shaft.
On the Spidermobile, Adon locates the universe with Tacoman. As the Spidership approaches the edge of affected space and a small TerrSec fleet, Greymoran sends an interdimensional distress signal. Soon, the TerrSec forces find themselves being attacked by Babylon 5 starships as the Spidermobile passes unharmed.
Chapter Four: Greymoran
New Characters: Xan, Old magician, Kobalds, Orcs, Water Monolith, Rita Yeager (mentioned)
As Minsc, Tacoman, Keith, Maya, and Boo proceed further into the time, they are forced to confront several groups of Kobolds, giant spiders, and explosive booby traps. They survive and soon discover a cave carved out of the side of the shaft. Realizing that their quest ended in the cave, the group enters.
Aboard the Spidership, after clearing the affected area, Adon opens a portal to the Baldur's Gate Universe. He, Insane, the Observer, Rikard, and Furby arrive at the entrance of the mine. Using a little magical intimidation to scare the locals, the LICC group enters the mine. Minutes later, Greymoran opens a portal for the Spidership, and the vessel enters the BGU, setting a course for Cormyr to retrieve an artifact that Greymoran needs.
Inside the cave, Tacoman's small group encounters killer blob creatures as well as more Kobolds, but they are able to fight them off. Further into the cave they encounter and evil magician with skeleton soldiers and more Kobolds. The creatures attack, injuring Maya. Minsc is angered by this and goes into a blind rage, killing the magician. After his death, they encounter a man named Xan, tied up nearby. They untie him and and give him his sword. Minutes later, the LICC group finally finds Tacoman.
In the meantime, one of the Spidership's shuttles reaches Cormyr and lands near the forest. They begin searching for the artifact, a small statuette of DracoLich.
In the cave, after introductions between the LICC and Tacoman's newest companions, the group is attacked by Orcs. Radagast appears and forces everyone but Captain Tacoman, Captain Yeager, and Maya into portals. Minsc, Xan, and Boo find themselves in a small nearby town while the LICC crew end up back on the Spidership. Radagast surrounds the trio with a wall of flame and Orcs jump through the flames to fight them. Suddenly, a large mass of water rushes through the cave, taking the Orcs with it and drowning them. Greymoran, now with the statue of DracoLich, arrives in a magical sphere that protects him from the water and picks up Tacoman, Keith, and Maya. The rushing water turns into a humanoid form and tries to go after Radagast but the insane wizard disappears. Greymoran chants a spell and the Water Monolith disappears, the statue's power no longer present. He teleports them to the LICC shuttle and they return to the Spidership.
With the quest over, Greymoran, Keith, and Maya prepare to depart. Maya
returns to Phobos while Greymoran and Keith prepare to begin a campaign
against the former elite Extradimensional Control Agency Agent turned genoicidal madman Jake Grey. While Keith returns to Earth to bring his wife, Greymoran leaves for his new ship, commandeered by the sentient computer Carrie and Grey's former chief of security, Hudzen. It is the Defiant-Class starship Archangel. He bids the LICC and Captain Tacoman, his son, goodbye.
