Tha last day of this trip starts from Castellane, goes over a few bumps and then involves a long, long descent to the sea through the Gorges du Loup.. We're talking two hours or more of feathering the brakes. The first few kilometers are steep enough that you have to stop repeatedly to avoid hot rims blowing out your tires. It's very scenic, with incredible cliffs and partway along this waterfall.
