 Emerging from the tent in the morning the Dordogne River flows slowly by. The Dordogne has been declared a fleuve sauvage, a wild river, meaning that no industry is allowed anywhere along its banks. A few excursion boats, swimmers, pedalos, fishing boats and many, many kayaks but no industry. Nor do you see any ski doo's churning up the water. Splashing and laughing are the only sounds coming from the river. |
