So .... why did we set this web site up ?
Well up until a few weeks ago I only ever heard from or saw 3 people I was at school with and was starting to wonder what had happened to them. Then simultaneously a few people put me onto
http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk/. If you've *NOT* had a look at this drop by, register with them and have a look at the number of people who have registered there already.
I put my details up there during the start of August. Within a week Jo Austin had mailed me, we got chatting, she sent me the year photo that I never had, we started to play "Who's Who" with it (and who's missing !) and fast found our memories deserting us. I called in help from the other people I still see and we got a few more names. So I did what any reasonable person would do in this day and age - I uploaded the photo to my web space.
"Hang on" says Jo, "No-one's going to see it there, we can do this so much better, let's make a web site dedicate to our year at school". So one domain name purchase later here we are. The site you see here is partially my work, partially Jo's - I wrote and keep all the tables of names, she did the design and dreamt up some of the features.
The centerpiece of this site is the year photo for our year. It's bugging me that I can't remember who everyone is it, so the sooner you identify everyone else and put me out of my misery the better ! We also want to put on some other miscelany and trivia surrounding our year - class listings, which class had which teacher etc so any help there too would be good.
If you're looking to get in touch with someone from our year at school pay
http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk/ a visit - most of the people I'm personally in touch with are signed up there. If they aren't there then drop me a mail at [email protected] and I'll let you know if we know anything about where they are !

PS: There are a few people *we'd* like to speak to. After a rather good pub lunch one day we came with the idea of a little joke "Easter Egg" for this site because one person is asked for more than anyone else by the people who've mailed us so far..... LMK if you find it.
