CHILD SAFETY: a guide for parents.

Did you know that in New Zealand, 13,000 children under five years of age are hospitalised each year because of injuries and poisoning? Many of these admissions are avoidable.

PRE-NATAL POOL SAFETY

If you have a swimming pool, check it is securely fenced to comply with the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act. Your local Council should be able to give you information. Every year, young children drown in domestic swimming pools which are inadequately fenced.
