Grevy) You are plunged into the world to do the will of the Lord You were chosen and dedicated By your call you were consecrated His words you shall proclaim Your zeal is not for fame Trials and tribulations you shall endure Spiritual sickness you can cure You are fortified by fidelity to a vow To temptations you should not bow Patience you should have for sorrow and pain You ought to strive not to have stain The People of God you shall shepherd You echo the voice which you have heard Your life will be a prayer As a priest you are forever Justice and peace you shall preach Always practice what you teach For such zeal you shall be exalted In complacency you shall be chided You are a priest, a king and a prophet Humility you should never forget Work for the upliftment of the poor It makes you enter the narrow door A man for others you will always be People will follow your life as they see To His kingdom, lead them that they may enter You will always be their servant-leader |
