It had been stting there for more than 10 days at least. After the tow truck arrived the driver told him that he thought the car was owned by a missing woman from Hood River. The tow truck driver then called police regarding the missing vehicle around 11:15am and that there was no visible signs that Forbes was around. Hood River County Sheriff's are investigating the scene.
Kimberly Ann went missing shortly after telling her daughter on Oct. 30th that she was planning on going to a friend's house for breakfast the next morning and would then head to Portland to go shopping. Since then friends ahave been searching for her and investigators have checked Forbes computer records to see if her Internet use may have somehow led to her disappearance. Friends say the 48 year old had been known to chat with people online, which is how she met her most recently known boyfriend a couple of years ago. Police say that relationship ended amicably and the boyfriend has a solid alibi for the weekend that Forbes disappeared.
According to those who know the woman, she is very reliable and was in good spirits before her disappearance. Police are perplexed by the disappearance as well.
