He had received a call from Fazoli's restaurant asking him to come to work early around 10:30am, a co-worker at the restaurant called Jason and said that she would pick him up at Benson.  The co-worker waited for about 30 minutes before returning to the restaurant without Jason because he never showed up at their meeting place.  The restaurant called his home a couple of times that day, trying to find him.

Jason walked out of his house to drag the garbage cans back in from the curb before leaving to meet the co-worker, and that was the last time Jason's 13 year old brother saw him, or anyone else saw him.
One year after Jason disappeared his family still waits, hoping to hear any new.  They are hoping someone will come forward and help answer the question of what happened.

The details are baffling.  All he was going to do was walk a few blocks and catch a ride to work and he's gone.  His car still sits in the driveway, waiting in case he comes home or until his parents get some closure.  There is a big hole in their hearts that can't be undone by any other resolution that him coming home or finding out what happened to him.

The Omaha police say that are no new leads in the case.  Anyone with information about Jason's diappearance is urged to call: 444-7867.  You can remain anonymous.
