A camper equipped with binoculars, space blanket and folding saw was found dead in his tent in the Sol Duc backcountry. A gun was in his hand and he appeared to have shot himself between September 1997-1999. The man had a green/black bivy style tent, a Jansport dayhiker pack and a blue shoulder bag wrapped in a green nylon sheet.

Two pairs of size large sweat pants, navy blue nylon "Beverly Hills Polo Club" and gray "Polo Sport Ralph Lauren". Nike air sneakers.
