Gremlin Automotive was officially opened August 1, 2003 in Boonville, Indiana, Moving his business to Indianapolis, Indiana on February 1, 2006. Owner Charlie Hofer has been doing automotive repair and service since 1993. His mechanical background includes: engine teardown and rebuild, electrical service and troubleshooting, auto body repair and paint, engine removal and installations, exhaust repair and replacements, brake service both standard and ABS systems, tire repair and replacement and much more. Gremlin Automotive is based on a fair and accurate assessment and repair of vehicles with emphasis on precise and professional service, we dont mind taking our time as long as it is results in our customers satisfaction.
We also believe in fair service, this means that before we begin on any service, we will assess the situation and in writing, explain to the customer exactly what must be done, and we will not start servicing until the customer is OK with the repairs and signs permission to do just the repairs discussed. if we discover more than anticipated while doing scheduled service, we will get written permission to proceed after counseling the customer. if you have any questions, please e-mail us at: [email protected] and we will gladly answer your questions.
