AC Clarke wrote this in 1947. Back then they didn’t give BSc degrees out of CrackerJack Boxes.
If power, doppler and displacement are not the answer, why was the computer predicting the communications system failure? Why did the computer think the astronauts already knew about this? Why couldn’t the computer explain it to them? Write to me for a good explanation.
