Television has been a mainstay of American society since the late 1950’s. Much like television, the Internet provides instantaneous information. But the Internet does more than just stream facts and pictures. The Internet links users together, allowing them to communicate in ways not possible before.

The communicative abilities of both television and the Internet are immense. When used in combination they are formidable. The Internet has given everyone a voice. Now through enhancements in interactive technologies, television and video on the Internet can be used get those voices heard.
