When he got there he looked and called for Greg but couldn't find him

Later he was called out with Warrick.

They hauled him up on a back board and he was transferred to the ambulance they weren't taking any chances with him, in case besides the broken ribs he might have had spinal damage as well.
When they got him to the hospital Greg and Gil were waiting for him.
They were so worried.
Greg was in tears at the sight of Nick on the stretcher.
He noticed though even with Nick being strapped so tight he couldn't stop moving in the stretcher, this confused him.
They immediately took him into x-ray.
While they were waiting Greg stood up stock straight and looked towards the x-ray room.
"Oh my god oh shit Nick!!!" Greg cringed.
"What's wrong Greg?" Gil asked.
"Um I just thought of something about Nick that's all I hope he is okay, with the x-rays." Greg blushed with worry and embarrassment for Nick.

"No I'm not hurt other than my ankle and yes my ribs are sore too you're right about that one." Nick mentioned. "But they aren't the reason I can't stay still."
Nick began to blush from head to toe.
God he wanted to kill Greg right this very minute.
"Are you on any medication to cause this condition or do you have MS or MDS?" he asked.
"No it's nothing like that and no I don't have either of those conditions. God I hate this." Nick replied growing angry with this line of questioning, knowing the eventual answer.

He also told him that they would be down soon surgery was scheduled within the hour.
Gil and Greg stayed with Nick and told him they contact his family and tell them what happened
They would also inform the rest of the team and Warrick know because they had all been paging them since they had got here.
"We will be waiting for you when you get out. I am not going anywhere that's for sure." Greg said.
"I am staying too Catherine can handle the rest of the night shift. Besides they said the surgery wouldn't take that long." Gil replied.
The porter came than to take Nick up to be prepped for surgery.
Gil and Greg watched him go and then Greg went to call his and Nick's parents to let them know what had happened.
When Greg came back Gil had a cup of coffee waiting for him.
"Thanks Gil, I appreciate this a lot. About the um object?" Greg asked shakily.
"Don't worry about that now we will take care of it later like I said. Now since were going to be here for awhile I suggest you go to the washroom with this one and take yours out too." Gil suggested.
Greg looked at him in shock, how did he know?
"I knew yes, now get going when everything is said and done WE WILL have a conversation about this the three of us." Gil again said and gave Greg the specimen bag.
Greg hurriedly transferred it to his own coat and left to do what Gil said.
He came back a few minutes later, Gil put out his hand and Greg blushing gave him the bag again.
Gil looked at the bag with the two dildos inside it.
Nothing else was said.
The rest of the team including Brass came in later.
There had been no change since Gil had called them while Greg was calling his and Nick's family.
Catherine brought bags of food and Sara handed out good coffee not the swill that the hospital called coffee.
They had just finished the meal when the doctor came and told them that Nick's surgery was a complete success and that he would be out till at least morning from the sedation.
He suggested that they all go home and get some rest.

"But first I am going to call the folks and let them know Nick is okay." Greg said as he left to make the phone calls.
