In a post game interview Roy Campanella was quoted saying "...it is nice to get a off to a good start at the plate, but there are a few guys here who aren't performing in the clutch..."
While no names were mentioned Campanella did give a long look at Alex Rodriguez who is just 2 for 17 with no RBI's and only 1 run scored. |

We spoke with Jason Giambi of the New Orleans Po' Boys,
after the team arrived in Anchorage for the season opener..
"It was a long trip. But the weather is mild. I was expecting it to be much colder. The game time temperature is supposed to be 50 degrees. I'm pretty pumped, playing alongside Hammerin' Hank AND Stan the Man.
Yeah, this season is gonna be one hell of a ride!" |
