The Beatles, Unsurpassed Masters Series, Yellow Dog

These discs are of excellent sound quality and present a great selection of material. While they don't contain as many versions and takes as the Backtrack series, there are a lot of important tracks here. The sessions for Strawberry Fields Forever on Volume Three are fascinating and presented in excellent sound quality. The Peter Sellers Tape on Volume Four is quite interesting and the early versions of the Abbey Road medleys on Volume Five are great. The 'Think For Yourself' session recording on Volume Seven is amazing. A must for collectors! Highly recommended.
