1976 Guild D25 Model Acoustic

This was the first guitar I ever owned. My parents purchased it as a gift in 1984 from the Music Museum in Pitman, NJ. It's definitely seen a lot of use and therefore has quite of bit of wear. But it still sounds great and plays well.

After it cracked, I had the original bridge replaced by a second-rate guitar repair shop and they did a pretty terrible job. The replacement bridge saddle was a cheap plastic that sounded horrible. I finally had that replaced and an overhaul done to the instrument in 2003, which helped quite a bit. It's going back to my new guitar repair guru, Ron Kayfield of Arpeggio Guitars, sometime soon to have an original replacement bridge fitted.
