Notice: Charles Reed is the pseudonym of John Henderson Stansberry, a former religious brother in the congregation of the Franciscan Minims in Mexico City. In the year 1978, (one year before the death of Maria Concepcion), a tragic incident happened in the congregation. Many years later John still felt guilty about it, and determined to write a report. Eventually the document turned into a short book, named "Mount Zion Revisited." The pseudonym Charles was used to protect the good reputation of all the persons involved. Writings of Charles Reed also include translations and short anthologies that he made, and editorials of the magazine "Reflections from the Franciscan Minims" published in English in Mexico City from 1990 to 2005. The magazine had a circulation of about 300, in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa.
"Mount Zion Revisited" was written as a roman a clef (novel with a key), in order to make known controversial topics, and to report inside information about scandal and abuse of power, without harming the good reputation of those involved, living and deceased.

This life is a valley of tears, and we will obtain complete happiness only on the other side of the tomb. But if we make the prayer of thanksgiving frequently, we will obtain some relief in our troubles and sorrows. The sorrows of this life pass away: God's infinite goodness will remain forever.

Charles Reed • The World Ends Every Day

Every time that a soul dies and enters into eternity, time is ended for that soul. All his opportunities for choosing between good and evil have ended. He has made his final decision, to be either for Christ or against him, and he or she will face the consequences of that decision for all eternity. When a person dies, time ends for him. The world, with all its vanities, defects and sins, no longer exists for him, it has passed away. Christ, the supreme Judge, comes in glory to pronounce the sentence. "Come, ye blessed, or depart, ye accursed." (Matthew 25). - - • Is Victimhood Necessary For Salvation? -

After the three days of chastisement are over, there will be no ungodly persons left; the godless will be annihilated. 75% of humanity will be destroyed. Everyone left on earth will believe in God with all their hearts. The devastation will be astonishingly great, but the earth will be purified. The spiritual fervor of the early Christians will return, but there will be few men left on earth. When all seems lost, then, in a twinkling, all will be saved. The sun will shine again and it will be as springtime, all fair and beautiful. The Holy Angels will descend from Heaven and spread the spirit of peace over the earth, and the just will be able to start life anew. Some nations will disappear entirely, and the face of the earth will be changed. There will be no more big business, huge factories and assembly lines. People will return to the land.

Charles Reed --- A Prophecy Fulfilled
Christ our Lord declared that he was the good shepherd, who gives his life for the sheep. (Jn. 10:11; Is. 40:11; Ezek. 34:23). His coming had been predicted by the prophets of the Old Testament. Many centuries had to pass before the prophecy of Ezekiel could be fulfilled. It did not come to pass until Easter Sunday. At that time, Christ began to gather his apostles and disciples, who had been scattered by the scandal of his passion, as was foretold by the prophet Zechariah: "I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered;" (Zech. 13:7) Christ wanted to gather his own people, his own nation, and for three years he preached to them, but because of their bad disposition, the prophecy could not be fulfilled. He wanted to gather them, but could not. "How often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!" (Mt. 23:37)

There is an admirable harmony between certain passages of Scripture and the revelations given to Julian of Norwich, England, in the 14th century. 1. Adam's Sin Was the Greatest. Our Lord revealed to Julian that the first sin, the disobedience of Adam, was the greatest sin ever committed. He revealed unto her that when Christ died on the cross, he made up for and atoned for the greatest sin and evil. The revelation is similar to Romans 5:12, "Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men." Our Lord told Julian that just as he made well the greatest evil (the sin of Adam) by his atoning death on the cross, so he would make well everything else, and that she would see it. He also told her that not even the least thing would be forgotten, that all manner of thing would be well, and that she would see it.

Questions about Victimhood
Did the Blessed Virgin Mary speak about reparation and victimhood at Fatima? --- She did not use the word victim. However, she did speak about suffering, penance, and reparation. In August 1917 She declared the need for praying a great deal, and making sacrifices, because many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray and make sacrifices for them. Therefore she did speak about the communion of saints, about reparation and victimhood. She asked the seers of Fatima to suffer and make sacrifices, in reparation. Jacinta Marto offered herself to make sacrifices, and generously accepted the suffering. Mary requested this of her. Jacinta suffered in close union with Christ; she was a victim. The Virgin Mary requested her to offer herself in this manner. Near the end of her life, Jacinta declared: "Now many souls will be saved, because I suffer much."
