| My Dad | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mom | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| My father and I had many fights and did not see eye to eye a lot. In his final months, though, we bonded more than ever before. I wish that we had more time together. No one, ever look very highly upon him. Even today when I suggest naming my child after him family members frown on it. I loved my dad and I miss him. He wasn't always there but, he taught me so much. He taught me how to respect a woman. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| My mom was loved by most everyone. She spent most of her life as a housewife. She had one job that I know of working in a mushroom farm. She was the one person that believed in me no matter what anyone else said. She was always there for me. She taught me about God and in the end I give her the credit for leading me to christ. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I don't have many fond memories of my father. I remember he used to always tell me to never hit a women. I will never forget the day Jacobi, my brother, and I were up late watching TV and he came in drunk. He actually played with us...chased us with a butcher knife...not safe but, we enjoyed his attention. He asked us if we wanted any "bausage and Siscuts". I have always remembered when I was a kid one day I was playing with some cars in the dirt. My father came out a spent a few minutes helping me build a town...that was so wonderful.There was times he was the best dad. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I remember walking with my mom one day. We were probably going home from church. We walked by a graveyard on the way and I asked her something along the lines of how can you get in heaven. She told that you had to be saved and explained it to me. Ever since that day I thought more about God and eventually sought God out. By his grace of course. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
