I have the strength of a thousand hearts
That beat with love a thousand fold
From loneliness I've learnt to depart
My trust to warm my heart that once was cold
A thousand dreams I've had each night
Each one embraced with open arms
From out of the darkness and into the light
Of a heavely presence that never will harm
In love I wander bestowing a smile
As lively and joyous as they can be
And all of the while I'll smile and smile
For my soul is one and my heart is free

Stars come and go in the twinkling of an eye
As I scan across the cosmos of an ageless sky
Oceans of gases and dust in an infinite space
They brighten my imagination as they shine on my face
Life flickers in the darkness of this wonderous void
It dances with the comets, riding an asteroid
The heavens open wide as the supernova turns
Showering light on the planets like the sun as she burns
The stardust create clouds in a magnificent constellation
Forming new wonders and continuing creation
Satellites in sequence in the orbit of a rock
Spinning around in motion like the hands on a clock
I lay on my back and glance out far beyond
But for a moment I was in the spotlight..

A place where the stars had shone
