| The Extreme Gulp pictured here next to a lowly mortal mug comes from 7-11. It's an insulated thermos that costs about $8 Canadian. Now, one might say there's nothing special about this price, but the Extreme Gulp has a special ability not found in any other thermos: cheap slurpee refills! (Well, cheap meaning $1.30 per refill (after tax), but hey, that's less than it costs for a cup that's half the size). The only problem is that you look a little stupid walking across the street with a giant mug, but hey... it's.. cheaper! And think how much you could steal! 2 litres of a Coke slurpee can get you pretty buzzed considering the price. The mix of sugar and caffiene is potent. Just think of how many litres of slurpee you can buy for the price of other goods (after the initial investment): 1 $30 DVD = 46 litres What's the deal with DVD prices lately? They now charge $30 (after tax) for one movie. It makes some sense for blockbusters and stuff (maybe), but what about... Fahrienheit 9/11. Now c'mon, Moore, how are you going to get your message to the masses if they can't even afford it? Greedy bastard... 1 $70 Video Game = 108 litres! Oh c'mon! It's 54 litres of slurpee! Rent your games. You can rent a game 10 times before the price exceeds the cost of buying a game. Yes, I know there are problems with this plan (not available for rent, have to walk to rental shoppery), but how many games do you play for more than 10 weekends before getting bored of it? 108 litres is enough to feed (and probably kill) an army! 1 $200 000 House = 307 692 litres Sure, you'll be homeless, but think of all the sugar, caffiene, and brainfreeze you can get in reward. Tasty slurpee... |
