These pictograms show it best, but there are very definite rules.
As you will see in the last pictogram, failure to adhere to these rules often results in injury!
SPEAR THE BEER RULES:
1. The Pitcher must be a "Spear the Beer" veteran of many years.
2. The Pitcher always throws underhand.
3. The Pitcher always throws gently up and to the side of the Spear Weilder, creating a slow arc. (If the Weilder stands still the beer should not hit him/her.)
3. Get drunk AFTER spearing the beer- not before!Yowch!
