| Well, my airship project was going along great! I mean, look at the picture, i had a remote system, working rudders, and a lightweight but capable hull to carry the servo, even home-made lightwieght slow-prop designed for the motor. It was great!.....well, it was great untill one day, while i was doing homework, the engine spontaneously combusted. No, seriously, it really did. by the time i ripped out the batteries, the engine was already partially siezed and my room wreaked of burnt plastic. Afterwards, i put it under the sink for storage, where one of my wondorous suitemates chucked a fed ex box on top of it. ....We gather here today for our dearly departed airship... may she rest in peace.... Well anyway, due to the throughly beaten remains of what was my airhsip project, it has been scrapped and shelved for the time being. It will continue in a couple years, you know, when i have a real job and can afford to rebuild it. :) oh well, it was a nice idea~ |
