The next thing I remember is waking up on a soft grassy field, and a strange stone was hovering nearby. I looked at this stone for a while, it gave me peace of mind, I felt as if by looking at it I could connect with it. After a few minutes I looked around, and I saw  people running past on a nearby road, some were wounded, and all were making haste to somewhere. I decided to follow.
BACK IN ISPAR, MY HOME....
I had heard that mysterious purple lights were being linked to the disspearance of my fellow countrymen, but I never thought that I would ever come across one...
I had just passed the rites of adulthood, and began my training as a swordsman. I wanted to be an alluvian master... but one day while I was training, I felt a strange sensation, and everything went black.
All I can remember after that is a strange blurr of blue light...
However, the group was too fast for my still wobbly legs, and i was a bit weak from the blackout. I called for them to wait, and to tell me where I was, but nobody could hear.
I was hopelessly lost, but by a trmendous stroke of luck, I stumbled across an old friend of mine named Elden. He was my old combat instructor, and had dissapeared several years ago. He explained that I was on Dereth, the land where all the missing persons from all over Ispar had been taken. It was different here, and the old conflicts between the races did not apply in this new land. There is an evil race called the Olthi, who used to imprison all the arrivals, but together we have freed ourselves. Once again, he took me under his wing and led me out of the forest I had wandered into.
As he led me back to safety, a bad of what he called Tumeroks began to chase us from a nearby hill. We ran for several minutes before coming across a deserted outpost. Grabbing me by the back of my tunic, he threw me into a circle of puprle light at the side of the outpost. The last thing I remember of him was seeing him turn to face our attackers.
When I came to next, I was in a large training hall for the newcomers of this land. I made my way through the buildling, proving myself worthy of the sword, and learning new pieces of information about this mysterious Island. After making my way to the exit, I returned to the spot where I had left my old teacher. He was nowhere to be seen, and the Tumeroks were nowhere in sight either. I did, however, find his Bow lying in the grass. It was his favorite bronze Yumi, of a Sho design which he always praised as being very reliable. I hold onto it always, for as I learned, death does not come here; it merely forces one to return to the Lifestone with which one has tuned oneself. Hopefully one day I will meet him again.
Elden, my teacher from Ispar.
.
He was a great Bowman
After finding my old teacher's bow, I wandered around aimlessly, in need of shelter and guidance in this new and dangerous place. I found it the next morning.
I woke up after a fitfull night of sleep in the fields, after all, I had no home to rest in. A group of adventurers were passing nearby, and I asked for help in my travels. (I had decided to find a home, but needed some kind of equipment and armor to do so here) They let me travel with them as they headed back to their hometown of Lytelthorpe, and one of the members of the group offered me a place in their family. None of them were blood related, but they had formed a system of allegience, to help each other along in this dangerous place. Soon, I was adpoted into the family of the kind Aramae, and thus became part of the Allegiance of Sir Killl. With her and her family's guidance I was alble to survive several run ins with creatures much more powerful than I, and I am eternally grateful!
Here I found a new home
And here I continue to hone my skills as a Fencer. I must grow  stronger, for my goal is to reach this mysterious Asheron who is said to cause these portals. Maybe then I can find out why I was brought here...
