I already  knew I couldn't win after Texas A&M's elimination. It was pretty much a mathematical impossibility.  My focus, however, still remained firmly set on my champion, Kansas, winning this thing in order to maintain the illusion of resceptability with regard to my performance.  I guess it's time for "plan B."   Lead by Arron Afflalo's 24 points, the UCLA Bruins put on a smothering performance in the second half to blow my Kansas squad out of the tourney. And when the Jayhawks began to mount a late comeback, repeated turnovers in the paint proved to be the final nails in their coffin.  Yep, death, taxes, and Kansas' early departure.  You can set your watch by it.  Well, there's always next year I guess.  Oh crap, I'm starting to sound like a Cubs fan! Is that what I've become now ... a loveable loser? Only without that whole "loveable" part??  (That's a rhetorical question, Corinne)

Oh, and Ohio State won too. *yawn*
