MY GUITARS
4.) Fender Stratocaster, Original Custom Body ('62 Replica), est. $500 - $880
A testament of Fender's original craftsmanship, this original Stratocaster is as precise as it is beautiful. I just took it off the wall the other day (having not used it in several months) and found that it required an adjustment on only the G-string. Other than that, it was perfectly tuned, and ready to rock. This guitar is also the only one of our collection equipped with a whammy bar, making solos a LOT more fun and interesting. With clear pickups and excellent internal electronics, this guitar has almost no noise when silent, and can give a wide range of tones. The only thing I do not like about the 'Strat' is that its knobs do not always seem to do much for adjusting the tone.
Total Collection Cost: est. $2450 - $3830

Gibson Studio Les Paul Model
Squire, by Fender Stagemaster-7 Standard Series
Samick Model SW115ETS
est. $300 - $350
My electric acoustic guitar is the workhorse of my studio productions. It allows me to plug it in directly to effects processors, as well as can be miked. With no flaws in its design, the guitar is clean and bright sounding.
Fender Stratocaster, Original Custom Body ('62 Replica)
est. $1050 - $2000
This baby weighs a ton. It is the most expensive guitar in our collection, and lives up to its price tag. It is the guitar of choice when quality of sound and tonal flexibility are important. Its smooth neck and excellent tuning heads offer a clean, crisp, and moderately darker tone. This is the guitar my brother uses when he records for my songs. It can do everything from heavy chords at high distortion to screaming solos, with harmonics ringing very clearly. The electronics are dead silent, producing no detectable noise when the guitar is not being played. The knobs on this guitar offer a wide variance in tonal alteration, again making this our most versitile guitar. This guitar's weight is its only flaw - stage performances leave the player with neck and back pains!
est. $600
My 7-string Fender Squire gives me the flexibility of not only recording lower bass notes, but allows for alternate tunings, giving rich chords not normally accessable on a standard guitar. Remarkably easy to play, this guitar is only moderately heavy, with a very solid design. The tonal controls are supurb, and the range (to octaves on the neck), and thereby make this the best guitar to solo on.
