K gets top billing. I met K at church, and asked her over for dinner in three months later. Eighteen months later we got married. We've been together ever since, and I'm very happy about that.
I've known Calvin Hung since junior high school. We were even roommates in college. He got his PhD shortly before I did, and now he's gone to medical school and become the other kind of doctor.
Dave Stuenkel was another of my roommates in college. He's been brave enough to go on two backpacking trips with Calvin and me, and it hasn't killed him yet.
I had various housemates in the California Bay Area including Ken, Dan, another Dan, the original Dan again, Nicole, and Harriet. I think Ken is the only one of those housemates who has a web page.
Among my best friends in San Diego were Paul and Denise Pitcher. They've since moved to Utah, and then to Vermont. Paul likes computers probably more than I do, and Denise got a PhD in math education.
