This page is a summary of my work experience. on the left side I have included some links to my credentials and awards as well as some other things of interest.
I currently hold an Associate in Applied Science degree in Networking and Telecommunications with an average GPA of 3.27.
I am also certified with Microsoft as a MCP (70-270) as well as Comp-Tia A-Plus certified.
In addition, I also have have extensive knowledge of numerous computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows XP, Windows 2000 Pro, and Server.
I have worked extensively in desktop support which includes troubleshooting both hardware and software problems with desktop and notebook computers. I have over three years of experience in this area.
Currently I am working for a remote desktop support company named PlumChoice Services. At this company, I remote into customer's machines and fix a variety of problems including setup network security for a network, optimizing their pc as well as spyware and virus removal to name a few. I also support Microsoft Office applications as well as a variety of other software.
Previously I worked for an EMR (electronic medical records) software company called BMD Services. I worked as their technical support person. In addition to network support and customer service I was also involved in flier design, technical writing, developing training materials, network assessment for potential customers wishing to implement our product, as well as many other tasks that they assign to me. I was also responsible for implementing and maintaining the office network which included an active directory infrastructure.
