A Neat Opportunity!
Many of us have often wondered what we can do to help others whom are not as fortunate as we are.  I wanted to share about a neat project offered through a charitable organization called Samaritan's Purse, which provides dairy goats to needy families in third-world countries.
A dairy goat can be a barnyard blessing for a family suffering from malnutrition and poverty. This hardy creature can thrive on very little pasture and browse,  and can supply up to a gallon of fresh milk a day. That's plenty to drink with some left over to make cheese, yogurt, or butter. Surplus dairy products can be sold to pay for essentials like medicine and schooling. From Latin America to Africa to Asia, Samaritan's Purse has provided thousands of goats and other dairy animals.
Greenwood's Cove Farm is happy to support this project, and a portion of the sale of every animal is given towards this, so that others may enjoy the rewards of having a dairy goat.
