1 ounce/30g dried nettle
1 ounce/30g dried yarrow
1 ounce/30g dried dandelion
1 ounce/30 g dried chamomile
1 ounce/30 g dried valerian
1 ounce/30 g dried oak bark
1 gallon/4 litres of water
Combine dried herbs and pour into water, mixing well. Let stand at least 24 hours. To use: make a heap of layers of soil, manure, weeds, and kitchen waste roughly 4x2 feet/2 square meters. Let mellow for 3 days, then make holes in the heap about 1 foot/300mm apart with a diameter of two inches/50mm stick. Put three inches/75 mm of liquid activator in each hole.
cover well with soil. Compost will be ready to use, with no turning! in one month.
