Dereh Nof Ha Carmel 20h February 2004 Click on the Shuttterfly logo to see the full album of today's ride. Much better weather greeted us for Lisa's birthday ride!! Although it was a bit chillie early on, it warmed up enough for us to take off our winter jackets and leg warmers. |
We started riding from the lower parking lot of the Muhrakah (Carmelite Monestary)
along farm tracks towards Osifiya. We encountered a "little" mud - so much so
that our back tires had no traction making it difficult to ride. Fortunaely once
we got to Osifiya, the muddy section ended. We continued to the Osifiya Soccer field and then on to our adventure of the day - a downhill single track. |
Eitan decided the singel track wasn't for him so he took a detour and met at the
junction of Dereh Nof Ha Carmel. On the way back Mendi had a fall. Fortunately he is okay, but his front wheel is somewhat bent! |

At the end of the ride we celebrated Lisa's birthday with some cake and drinks. Happy
Birthday Lisa! |
