Ya'arot Hadera and Nahal Alexander 2nd January 2004 Click on any picture on this page to see the full album of today's ride For our first ride of 2004, we decided to ride once again on a Friday morning to allow our observant members to enjoy riding with the group. Compared to last week, the route was easy, offering no hills at all. A perfect opportunity for beginner riders to join, enjoy and learn! |
At the start of the ride, both the beginner's and the advanced group rode together
until we reached Brechot haya'ar. In winter this area is supposed to be full
with water, but because of the lack of rain so far this year, all we had were some
mud patches! The beginner's group continued parallel to road 4 south towards Nahal Alexander. |
Before we continued along the river we had a welcome pit stop at the Coffee Bar at
the gas station opposite Kibbutz Mabarot. Riding back to the cars along Nahal Alexander passed Mihmoret and Givat Olga was pleasant. Great weather, great company and an easy route! |
