| "...and we (I) won't go down..." |
| Lately, if anyone hasn't noticed, there's been a lot of fanson pages going down. Why? Well some people decide they're bored with it, don't like the boy's change, or what have you for any reason. From my point of view, it seems like those people made it their life to work on their page. Me, I just whip open page builder and fool around with it. It's all in pure fun. I'm lazy and refuse to change it so much, so you won't see sudden layout changes and crap. Thank God for that so then it won't seem like so much work for one, and the page is a Hobby! Art is my life. I want to be an illustrator/graphic artist/writer/art teacher/cartoonist ~ you get the gist. So, I'm totally focused on that and if ever possible, thank Hanson in a way for inspiring me to focus on what I love to do and what makes me the happiest. I promise you that this page will never go down. It's gonna change over time, I assure you, and may change to something totally different eventually, but this is a poke fun at what I like page, share my stuff, thoughts, and whatnot. Pretty much a place that I can express my feelings, thoughts, cracks, and whatever about being a fan, so there's things that will happen and change. I've never called the "Hanson Hotline", been on "Hanson.net", nor did I get "MOE" until it was into its second year til it finished. I love the boys' music. I'd love to get to know them in general. I've talked to people who have met them and say how wonderful they are as people. That makes me have some faith in people again. They are what I would say "Hope" for my view on humanity, not following bandwagons so much as many people do. I've been a fan before the hysteria totally hit. The music came first to me. It still does. I'm able to relate to them (besides having chilling coincidences in common with them) when it comes to growing up doing what you love. I am all in support of their new sound as they continue to grow as artists. I'm glad they've grown away from MON, change is good. I like change, don't you? They are, like me, developing young artists that will always be changing. I'm happy with the direction my style is going in art, and I'm sure the boys are happy about where their sound is going in music. I hold great respect for musicians as I do for anyone in the art fields, especially if they are young. And not to be rude, but I don't belive that "abstract art" is the right choice for artists my age to be doing right now until they have mastered the rest of the art elements. Just like how you can't skip practicing basic music skills and head right towards any musical genre immediately. For example, I love to draw my cartoons, but I have to practice real life so I don't lose touch with reality, and working from reality improves everything. Even if they only sell a few CD's, I'll be sure to be one of those few! :) Yes, I know I'm ranting. :) Anyway, in no way is this site going down. Not for a long time. Unless I keel over or go comatose. Even if I do stop, I'd never remove the links. It just won't be updated anymore because it's a bummer when people take all their page off. It's kinda sad, like a loss of hope. I have a lot of guts when it comes to staying committed to this page. If I've been a fan for this long, why shouldn't I share my views to fellow fans online or why stop? ~ I'm just getting warmed up! So as long as I'm breathing, I PROMISE you that this site will stay up! I am determined, and I keep my word. As a good person, why shouldn't I? Yeah, I'll be a little misinformed, considering I live in the dark most the time, BUT DOES THAT MATTER?! That makes it even more fun! :D Keep Spreadin' the Love and Peace out Beth (or to my close friends Bet or some other warped twisted variation of my name.), a Fanson (unobcessed type) til the end! :) Do not fear change. ~Embrace it for all it's worth. Go out of your comfort zone and try something new! You'll never regret it! |
