| For most of you who don't know who CLAMP is they are a group of four women living in Japan writing manga, aka Japanese comic books (Omg! They are beautiful!! I love them to death!). They used to be a group of eleven, but now four remain because the others have broken off. Their work is pretty big over in Japan. I had a sticker I made on my binder for school one day, and an exchange student we had from Japan went nuts like, "You know CLAMP?" So, yeah they are an amazing group of artists, and I love their stories. I'll warn you right now that they have yaoi/yuri, or boy's/girl's love. That's homosexual content for those of you who didn't catch on by now. Not to let that scare you away. I would hope it wouldn't! What the heck~ America is just as bad in their shows and whatnot. Simpsons, anyone? Dawson's Creek? Anyhow, back to what I was saying. They have beautiful storylines and they have no mercy when it comes to torturing the reader! Mangas (Japanese comics) that Clamp have done: Tokyo Babylon Wish X (aka, X/1999) RG Veda Clover Card Captor Sakura I know there's more out there, and if you know of any other titles of theirs, email me! I know they have a new one out but i don't recall what its title is offhand! ^_^;; EMAIL!!!!!!!!! |
